Itinerary
Day-01: Islamabad and Rawalpindi
Welcome at Islamabad airport, and transfer to hotel, after refreshment proceed for city tour of Islamabad and Rawalpindi, which includes famous Faisal Mosque, Shakar Parian, Pakistan monument, Damen Koh, Lok Versa, Museum, Rawalpindi old bazaar, Raja Bazaar.

Day-02: Drive from Islamabad to Peshawar
Drive to Peshawar 170 km, enroute visit Taxila Museum and historical sites. Arrive Peshawar transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour of Peshawar, which includes Peshawar city, Kissa Khani bazaar, Peshawar Museum and Mahabat Khan Mosque.

Day-03: Drive from Peshawar to Swat
After breakfast departure for Swat 160 km, en visit a well preserved monastery of Takht-i-Bai and Oddiyana and Swat valley.

Day-04: Drive from Swat to Chilas
After breakfast departure for Besham 291 km, after lunch continue drive to Chilas on Karakoram highway 200 km.

Day-05: Drive from Chilas to Skardu
Drive to Skardu along with Indus River 8-9 hours, 290 km. En-route stop at junction point of three great mountain ranges meet, the Karakorum, Himalaya and Hindukush and stop at Thalichi for photography from Nanga Parbat 8,126m.

Day-06: Drive to Deosai National Park
Morning Excursion to Deosai plateau via Satpara Lake. Afternoon drive back to Skardu, visit Skardu town and walk to Kharpucho fort from Skardu city for 2 hours.

Day-07: Shigar Fort and Cold Desert
After breakfast drive to Shigar valley 35 km, visit Shigar Fort, Shigar valley and The Cold Desert, also known as the Katpana Desert. Afternoon visit Kachura Lake and Shangrila Resort.

Day-08: Drive from Skardu to Khaplu
Drive to Khaplu village along with Shyok River 100 km. En-route stop at various viewpoints for photography and refreshment.

Day-09: Drive from Khaplu to Skardu
After breakfast visit Khaplu Fort, Khaplu village and Chakchun Mosque. Evening back to Skardu 100 km.
Khaplu village: This handsome village of timber-and-stone houses and precision-made dry walls climbs up a wide alluvial fan beneath an arc of sheer granite walls. Painstaking irrigation has made it a shady, fertile oasis. As you climb its twisting track, the icy peaks of the Masherbrum Range rise on the other side of the valley. It’s hard to imagine a more majestic setting near a public road anywhere in Pakistan. The main attractions are the 2600m-high village itself, the old Royal Place and even older Mosque above it at Chakchun, and the heart-stopping views.

Drive back to Chilas along with Indus River 8-9 hours, 290 km. En-route stop at various viewpoints for photography and refreshment.
